KwaHu Kachina

KwaHu Eagle Kachina who's far sight gives insight into the unity of all people. KwaHu Kachina presides over the sacred text mandala on 9/11/11. KwaHu is leading a day of healing and insight for the victims of 9/11/01. The red,white and blue spiral are individual prayer ties of tobacco offered in healing for all those who suffered and are suffering still due to the crimes of 9/11/01. The inspiration for KwaHu Kachina is derived from the 300 plus Kachinas of the Hopi tribe of the american south west. Materials: 1100 pennies form the chest plate. The wings and tail are 20 years of worn out(by me) leather work gloves. The head piece is composed of feathers and replicated 50 caliber bullets. The sacred text mandala is composed of the Bible to the west, Bhagavad Gita in the east, The Quaran to the north and TaoTeChing in the south. The unifying center is one of Nature's glory-Flowers. Each direction represents one of the 5 elements. Earth or stone, To south a conch/Water, To North a wing/Air to East a candle flame/fire. The unifying Center is Space/Aether holding the pervasive beauty of Creator.
